Bertha's Beach and Stanley Tour
Wanderlust Falklands Tours · Stanley
Bertha’s Beach is home to a thriving colony of over 800 Gentoo penguins, which can be observed in their natural habitat as they nest, waddle along the shore and dive into the waters. Other species, including Magellanic and occasionally King penguins, may also be spotted.
The surrounding waters frequently attract Commerson’s and Peale’s dolphins. The area also hosts a variety of seabirds and coastal flora, including over 80 species of flowering plants, five of which are endemic to the Falkland Islands.
