SAIO Assisi

SAIO is the vineyard of Assisi. 20 hectares of vineyards and olive groves 800 meters from Saint Francis's church, a Unesco heritage site. The Mencarelli family produces high-quality wines and extra virgin olive oil there. They produce small quantities with an artisan approach that respects nature. We are passionate about sharing this enthusiasm for wine, EVOO (extra vergine olive oil) and the wonderful town of Assisi! Come and meet us; you will be able to take part in interesting tasting sessions led by experts who have extensive knowledge of local viticulture, savour delicious picnics set against breathtaking views over the vines or try out some authentic pairings using locally sourced ingredients prepared according to traditional methods.
