We are a transportation company specialising in small group tours ex Tauranga. Our most popular “foodie” tours include The Taste of the Bay of Plenty – tastings of beer or gin or cider / wine / lunch cocktails and desserts; and Our Kiwi Kitchen tour – an avocado orchard visit with locally sourced ingredients on offer along with sightseeing opportunities.

KWIZINE TOUR

The tour picks you up from the Port of Tauranga or your local accommodation & travels to a kiwi orchard where the industry is explained from planting to the beautiful edible fruit & export (& you will be able to taste the product), gives you an immersive experience, including a “walk & talk” tour & a tasting at a picturesque avocado orchard, provides you with a Fish & Chip lunch at a seaside village, takes you up to the Minden Lookout where you have a marvellous view of the Coastal Bay of Plenty (—on a clear day you can see an active volcano, White Island) and takes you to either BeeNZ for a honey tasting & factory tour (Monday-Friday) OR visits an award winning dessert venue to taste one of their desserts (Saturday-Sunday). We then return to port driving alongside beautiful Mt Maunganui beach, which we consider to be the best beach in the Southern Hemisphere. COST: $195.00 per person. Includes transport, tastings, fish & chip lunch, avocado tour, honey tasting & tour OR dessert, Minden Lookout.

BAY OF PLENTY TASTING TOUR

The Bay of Plenty Tasting Tour begins with a visit to a boutique craft brewery, where the process of producing natural beer without preservatives or additives is explained and a range of beers are sampled. (If you’re not a beer drinker, you can opt for ciders instead). We then head south to Volcanic Hills Winery, near Rotorua, for some delicious antipasto platter sharing followed by an introduction to their wines before sampling them all! Their stunning cellar door overlooks Lake Rotorua – enjoy taking in these views whilst sipping on fine vino. Next, back towards Tauranga stopping off first at Saltwater Brewery for lunch included within the price. Then onto Salinety restaurant & bar located right over looking our lovely harbor and Marina here guests indulge themselves with either desert and cocktails or just deserts/coffee depending upon personal preference. After that its time to get dropped off directly beside your vessel OR alternatively take advantage of nearby accommodations available closeby should you wish to extend your stay post trip completion. Time allowing there may also potentially still be opportunities along the way including dropping anchor briefly at Zespri kiwi orchards so I could share more about how they grow such tasty fruit which ends up being exported worldwide; plus perhaps even making a short detour down to explore okere falls - truly breathtaking spot nestled deep amongst lush greenery amidst nature itself!. Total Duration approx 8hrs Minimum booking requirement per group size would need to consist minimally out of Two individuals although solo travelers might possibly join us provided another person has previously signed up beforehand thus ensuring numbers meet requirements set forth..
