A Walk in the Woods

A Walk in the Woods is a guiding service serving the southeastern United States. We primarily operate in Great Smoky Mountains National Park but also offer trips to Big South Fork, Pisgah National Forest, Shenandoah and the Everglades. In the Smokies we can provide everything from short walks to multi day experiences. Guided hiking tours, backpackers treks, tent camping, equipment rental, shuttle services and more. Our goal is to increase environmental awareness through direct, positive nature experiences. We look forward to helping you get away from everyday life and fully immerse yourself in the wilderness!
