Strawberry Line Cycle Project

It’s all about community – and it’s all about getting people out onto the great outdoors along the lovely Strawberry Line. We love living here, which is why we have a non-profit bike hire scheme based at Yatton railway station. Operated by the same friendly team who run the Strawberry Line café, they combine homemade treats and refreshments with some fresh air and exercise. The Strawberry Line Cycle Project is located in the car park next to platform one at Yatton railway station; from there, hop aboard your chosen two wheeler and enjoy mile upon mile of traffic free cruising across the stunning landscapes of rural Somerset. Cycling really does suit everybody, and this ethos shines through both in our fleet of conventional and adapted cycles available for rental, or indeed within our fantastic workforce – because yes, we also provide genuine job opportunities and vocational training specifically tailored towards individuals with additional needs such as learning difficulties.
