SIEM REAP – PHNOM PENH 3 NIGHTS / 4 DAYS

DAY 1: ARRIVAL - SIEM REAP Welcome to Siem Reap! Your tour begins when you are warmly greeted by our English-speaking guide at Siem Reap International Airport. After collecting your luggage, they will take you to your hotel for check-in. In the afternoon, visit Chong Kneas, one of the natural tourist attractions and a mangrove area home to hundreds of freshwater fish and bird species, adorned with ethnic stilted houses lining the water surface all the way up to the sky. These villages are predominantly Khmer and have around 3,000 residents combined, most of whom live in stilted houses. Their livelihoods mainly rely on fishing and tourism. Board a traditional wooden boat through the flooded forests of the GREAT TONLE SAP LAKE, which serves as a habitat for numerous bird species—this journey will lead you to Chong Kneas. This remarkable floating village is constructed on stilts standing 8 to 10 meters high. Visit an island pagoda, a school, and traditional stilted houses to interact with the local families. Return to Siem Reap for refreshments. Afterward, explore Artisan d'Angkor, established based on the ambitious belief that reviving ancient Khmer arts and crafts can improve the lives of thousands of people living in rural areas, followed by a stop at the Old Market for shopping. Stay overnight in Siem Reap. DAY 2: SIEM REAP - TEMPLE TOUR (B) Enjoy breakfast at your hotel before embarking on a full-day excursion to explore Angkor Thom and its temples. First, visit the magnificent Angkor Thom (The Great City), including the Southern Gate and the renowned Bayon Temple (12th century).
