MONTANA WHITEWATER is a family-owned and operated business located in Bozeman, Big Sky, and Gardiner, Montana, near Yellowstone National Park. The company was founded in 1992 by Bill Zell, who had previously given up his Ph.D. studies in computer science. Our true passion lies in crafting unforgettable adventures for our guests. There's nothing quite like sharing these incredible river journeys with them—it's both an honor and pure fun! We organize rafting expeditions along the Yellowstone River, as well as tours of the Madison and Gallatin Rivers; additionally, we operate two thrilling zip line courses, provide tube rental services, teach fly fishing techniques, and much more. Over time, we've become your go-to destination for all things adventurous around Yellowstone. Serving you has been such a joy and blessing for us. Whitewater Rush
For use on our half day trips on location by the Yellowstone and/or Gallatin Rivers! There’s no charge for wetsuit rental or boot rentals! Any activities added beyond your first booking are discounted. All guides have certification in CPR & swift water rescue (the industry standard), plus wilderness first aid training at a minimum level (which exceeds the industry standard). Many of our team members also hold advanced qualifications such as WFR (Wilderness First Responder) or even Emergency Medical Technician licenses!
