Canyoning Sušec

Thanks to its stunning landscape, the Sušec Gorge ranks among the area's top attractions. This gorge offers everything exciting about canyoning while being perfectly suited for everyone in the family - provided you don't shy away from hiking uphill for around twenty minutes before reaching the entrance. Should you decide against continuing with the tour at some point during the hike, no need to fret because returning via footpaths leads directly back to the carpark where we started our journey. In either case, a kayak school is the right option for you. We offer one-, three-, and five-day courses, where you can learn systematically and deepen your understanding of this wonderful discipline. Our instructors will teach you all the techniques needed to navigate the rapids safely and progress in your skill level. The stunning Soča River is a haven for kayakers worldwide because of its natural beauty, varying levels of technicality, and diverse sections ranging from Class II (gentle) to Class V (extreme). This makes the Soča an ideal location to both start learning and refine your paddling abilities. Our one-day course covers essentials like gear setup, primary paddling strokes, re-entry after capsizing, and introductory hydrology concepts. During our three-day program, we delve further into foundational whitewater kayaking principles while also focusing on effective communication strategies during trips down the river. By committing to three full days, participants typically internalize good practices early on which prove invaluable later. Finally, our comprehensive five-day course allows us to fully immerse ourselves in mastering these elements across various stretches of the river tailored to individual progression rates. It’s here too that students get introduced to crucial self-rescue maneuvers necessary for continued safe participation in the sport.

Packraft trip for beginners

Discover the versatility of a pack-raft! Pack-rafts are inflatable kayaks that you can carry in your backpack. They are great for expeditions and easy to maneuver on the river. Due to these advantages, pack-rafts quickly gained popularity with those that want an all-terrain adventure or have little whitewater knowledge.
