Kilimanjaro is indeed expensive due to mandatory daily park fees (~$140/day including VAT). Our “Reasonable but Premium” pricing for 2026 includes:

**Logistics: The “Nairobi to Moshi” Connection**
Since you’re starting from Nairobi, we offer two “Drop & Pickup” options for your Kilimanjaro traverse:
1. **The Private Van (Recommended):** Our Safari Van takes you from Nairobi directly to your hotel in Moshi via the Namanga Border. This allows for a seamless transition of gear and staff.
2. **The Luxury Shuttle:** A 6-hour shared shuttle service that is highly reliable and cost-effective.
3. Pro Tip on “Mweka”: While you mentioned Mweka, it is almost exclusively used as a descent-only route for Lemosho, Machame, and Umbwe. It is very steep and designed to get you off the mountain quickly after your summit.
